Nobody wants to be the woman eating dinner alone at the resort.

So many of us have the time now, and the money we've finally stopped spending on everyone else. What we don't have is someone to go with. Partners who hate travel. Friends who can't get the dates. Kids who'll "see how they go".

So we stay home. Or we go alone and spend the week pretending we love our own company.

You don't need a travel buddy. You need a whole table of them.

I started Still Social because I couldn't find women my age to do things with. Travel was the dream, and now it's the best bit of what we do.

I've watched women arrive nervous and leave with friends they now holiday with on their own. That's the whole point. Come for the trip, stay for the women.
