So this is me..
I’m a post-menopausal, empty-nester with a cheeky sense of humour, and a serious belief that just because I’m over 50 I am not invisible. After years of juggling life, caring for an aging parent and everything in between, I realised that my friendships had shrunk and not sure how to make new friendship connections That’s why I created Still Social, a friendship club for women 40+ who are ready to put themselves back on the priority list. This is your safe space to make new friends, show up just as you are, and remind the world (and maybe yourself) that you’re not invisible!
I am truly wanting to make a difference for those that maybe sitting on the couch waiting for the kids to call…
Still Social is built on connection, not commerce. While some events may have a fee to cover costs, the true currency here is friendship. This group exists to serve, support, and remind women over 40 that they’re not invisible—and never alone.

Max is the organisational heartbeat of the team — the one who keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes. With a sharp eye for detail and a genuine passion for helping others, Max ensures that every event, booking, and message is handled with care and efficiency. Known for his calm presence, quick problem-solving, and endless good humour, he’s the first to lend a hand and the last to leave a task unfinished. Quite simply, Max is the reason things get done (and done well).

Still Social is looking for an Event Manager &/or Admin Legend to help plan and host our women’s meet-ups, workshops, and social gatherings. You’ll play a key role in creating fun, welcoming experiences that spark connection and laughter. If you have a flair for coordination, a warm personality, and a passion for community, we’d love to hear from you!
